Gillian believes her Dad lead her to become a medium in later life.
He was and still is her Guiding Star

My dad’s always been my Guiding Star, even though he’s no longer with us.  In fact, he died when I was just 4 ½ years old  He’s still my hero, because I’ve learned so much about life through him.  I believe he encouraged me to become a medium, so I could help other people come to terms with their own losses

One of the most beautiful things he’s taught me is that life is for living, but you can’t really live life in the moment unless you are willing to let go.  Letting go is part of the process of life.  Sometimes I think the word death gives the wrong impression.  It isn’t a full stop at the end of this lifetime; it’s a pause as we get into gear for the new step forward.  Life’s a continuation. Our life takes us through several seasons as we move from childhood to adulthood and beyond.  Each step takes us up a notch, but we have to be willing to let go so that we can move forward embracing life fully. As we move through the seasons of our own life, each harvested bloom becomes a seed for next season’s growth. It’s not always that easy because most of us want to hold on to the familiar rather than face the unknown. But change is inevitable and although I wanted to cling to Dad, he taught me to pour love rather than fear into the gaping hole caused by his loss. Love is the doorway to the heart where we learn that we are all one, and can never be separate, even though we may still yearn for their physical presence.

As my mediumistic skills grew and developed, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that life went on in a slightly different form beyond the door we’ve labelled ‘death’!  There is a moment in the pause when we are ready to begin living again, we are ready to trust the process of life, and have started to come to terms with the loss.  This does not mean that our loved ones will ever be forgotten however.  I also knew that Dad could offer me his support from the other side of life, but he couldn’t live my life for me.  Our lives are our own, but the knowledge and wisdom I gained from this experience becomes this inspiration to help others.

I couldn't resist including this photo of a stormy and windswept sea, taken from Estoril Promenade, Portugal, to celebrate today's Full Moon in Virgo. What's the connection?

The moon is always associated with the sea and its powerful tides. That's why I love being beside water and the sea in particular because it brushes the cobwebs out of my hair. The Full Moon is associated with letting go of what no longer serves us, and its the last one before the Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere and the vernal equinox in the southern hemisphere: the ending of one cycle so that another one can begin. For us in the north, as we move towards Spring, more and more buds are pushing themselves out of the earth up towards the growing sunlight. Life begins to shine brightly once more but we do have to create the space for these new buds in our lives.

Virgo, is very much associated with the Sacred and the Priestess and your Intuition in particular. I have been using this window to concentrate on detail and to sort some of my computer files out.But its not been without its trials.  The Priestess can be a hard task mistress, but the rewards are great if you stay focused on the chosen task. She stands at the gateway between the inner and outer realms, and so understands the importance of taking stock of your life to release things and any clutter that no longer serves you. She also asks us to embrace the unknown as our friend rather than enemy.

You may also find that your dreams are really intense at this time.  Some of them could be prophetic dreams, but the Priestess also works with the unconscious to help you release past emotions. I certainly find I have some really graphic dreams at this time of the year. Ones that take me completely by surprise.  Nonetheless its worth sitting down and taking time to decipher their meaning because it could make all the difference between success and far as achieving your goals.

Cosmic Mysteries School

Patricia and Daniel Cardona, Directors of the Cosmic Mysteries Schools also work with the energy of the full moon, and are offering a free download 52 Moon Calendar.  Each full moon is associated with a particular sacred site.  This months is the stone circle of Brogdar in the Orkneys.  To download this Calendar go to. They are also offering a trip to the sacred Emerald Isles to visit New Grange and Tara, amongst others.  This will be a time of sacred ceremony and working closely with the natural energies of these sites.  Go to their site to download information about this trip.

Exploring Different Ways Spirit Communicates

There are many different ways Spirit communicates with us. One of these ways, of course, most of you will be familiar with and that is to go and see a medium. It is a medium's job to connect you to your loved ones on the other side of life by providing 'evidence of survival'. Mediums work in many different ways but I generally start with a description of the person who is coming through from Spirit. This may include their height, appearance, age when they passed to spirit, as well as how they passed, although there are no hard and fast rules. This is then followed by a message which is very meaningful to the individual. Sometimes its just a seemingly insignificant word that actually means the world to the recipient. It could even be a familiar gesture. Perhaps its a memory, but generally what ever form the message takes, it leaves that person in no doubt that the medium is communicating with

Spirit communicates with us in a number of different ways, sometimes just to offer us the comfort of knowing they are there. Robins and Blackbirds are generally a sign that someone's trying to attract your attention. These two birds are also associated with the Druidic tradition. Be aware of robins and blackbirds that suddenly appear in your garden, especially around anniversaries, (birthdays, or other celebrations associated with your loved ones). Lots of people experience robins and blackbirds in their gardens shortly after a bereavement. Sometimes they will come right up to the window to grab your attention. This is very reassuring.

Find a feather and you can be certain that you are being given the support of Spirit. Most often seen as a sign from the Angels, I believe feathers also come from Spirit as well. We were travelling up

Car number plates:

Watch out for car number plates which carry your loved ones initials. Sometimes they may also carry the name of your Guide. Master Lam is one of my own Guides and I always know he is close when I see that number plate. That's when I know I need to be more focused.

This is a photo of an apported crystal I received while working at a beautiful spiritual centre in Hemel Hempstead. An apport is a gift from Spirit, which arrives out of the blue. It could be a crystal, a stone, a smell of perfume, or tobacco, or I have known a piece of jewellry to arrive from nowhere; this is a very special gift. Sai Baba an Indian Guru was know to manifest all kinds of gifts from Spirit. There's a very gifted medium called Geoff Boltwood who was able to manifest perfumed oils from crystals. A friend of mine gave me a pyramid crystals before he passed with stomach cancer. Geoff manifested oil from that crystal, a very special gift from my friend.

Remember there are a number of different ways Spirit comes to call, and you don't always need a medium. Dreams are another very powerful way in which people or even Guides and Angels can communicate with us. Its easier to communicate in this way because we are much more open and True communication is very often accompanied by a very loving sense of actually 'being there' and talking as you always did to your loved one. There is always a peaceful air about the communication, sometimes in a magical garden, unlike anything you have ever seen before on earth. Finally: Be open to the many ways Spirit can communicate. They will communicate with you in a way that typifies them as individuals. For instance if they loved football, then their communication may have something to do with football, or if they loved the Beetles then you might suddenly start hearing lots of Beetles music. Spirit communication in fascinating and fun, and always loving.Any questions please contact Gillian
